Overview
Come along and plant some trees that will grow to become future koala habitat. They'll also protect other threatened wildlife at Cudgera Creek Nature Reserve, near Pottsville on the NSW North Coast.

Help NSW National Parks reach our goal of planting 1700 trees in Cudgera Creek Nature Reserve. Every tree you plant will revegetate previously grazed lands and enhance existing koala habitat.
It’s important to arrive at 9am, because that’s when we’ll brief all volunteers on how and where to plant, and other details of the morning. At the end of the day, enjoy a free sausage sizzle on us. You’ll meet like-minded people while doing important work for the environment.
This is a great family-friendly activity.

Getting there and parking
Cudgera Creek Nature Reserve is on Sleepy Hollow Road, Sleepy Hollow. To get there:
From Tweed Heads:
- Follow the M1 south bound.
- Take the Cudgera Creek Road exit towards Tourist Drive 38/Pottsville/Hastings Point.
- Turn left onto Cudgera Creek Road.
- Turn right onto Pottsville Road.
- Turn right onto Sleepy Hollow Road (going under the M1).
From Ewingsdale:
- Follow the M1 to Billinudgel.
- Take the exit towards Tweed Valley Way/Brunswick Valley Way/Tourist Drive 40/Murwillumbah from M1.
- At the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit.
- At the second roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Tweed Valley Way. Turn right onto Pottsville Road.
- Turn left onto Sleepy Hollow Road (going under the M1).
The roads are open to the public.
