This is a free event, but places are limited. Bookings are essential.
You must book a ticket for adults and children over 5 years. No ticket required for children under 4 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Park entry fees: $12 per vehicle per day. You can also pay for your visit via the Park’nPay app. Vehicles over 8 seats: $4.40 per adult, $2.20 per child (per day).

Book your tickets and join us for a free NAIDOC week event at Bobbin Head in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. This family friendly event will celebrate Aboriginal culture and heritage with a range of activities and presentations guided by NPWS staff and special guests.
Gather to start the day with a special Welcome to Country by Uncle Dean Kelly.
You'll then be guided through activities, workshops and presentations about this year's NAIDOC week theme which is '50 Years of Deadly'.
Learn about local Aboriginal totems, artefacts, and bush tucker. Try your hand at traditional weaving. Hear stories from our team about working in national parks and the unique native plants and animals of the area. Our special guests presenters will talk about their experiences and deep connection to Country.
You can grab a bite to eat at the historical Bobbin Inn Cafe or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy. Visit the Bobbin Head Visitor Centre for local information or a special gift.

Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park is always open but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.
- Gates to West Head are closed from 8.30pm to 6am during daylight savings periods, and from 6pm to 6am the rest of the year.
- Gates to Sphinx Memorial carpark are closed overnight from 7pm.

Other fees:
A $3 per adult, $2 per child landing fee may apply for day visitors to The Basin campground. Please pay at the campground wharf. Landing fees are included in your camping fees.
Group bookings:
Under the Plan of Management for this park, prior written approval is required for organised groups of 40 or more people planning to visit this park. Contact the park office before your visit.
