Once you’ve clapped eyes on this spectacular view, you’ll never forget it. Missingham lookout walking track leads along the western edge of the escarpment and shows off Kangaroo Valley in all its glory, as well as a wide angle view of the spectacular Carrington Falls Gorge.

Passing gums and banksia, you might catch the scent of sydney peppermint gum and the finger hakea with its delightful perfume in spring. You might hear the call of the wonga pigeon or eastern whipbird as you meander this easy trail, leading to one of the best views on the south coast. Take a moment to scour the skies for the vibrant king parrot and yellow tailed black cockatoo, or simply soak in the sounds of the valley below.

Head back to either Carrington Falls picnic area or Nellies Glen picnic area for a picnic or if you still want to know more about this precious patch of remaining rainforest, head to Minnamurra Rainforest Centre.
