Fee-collecting national parks
Motor vehicle entry fees are charged at 45 of the 895 NSW national parks and reserves. Find out which parks charge vehicle entry fees, and how much it costs when you visit.

This fee relates to motor vehicles, not to people, so you only need to pay for each motor vehicle you bring into the park (including motorbikes). If you ride a push bike or walk, entry is free.
You can buy single-day entry passes or, if you're a regular park visitor save time and money by buying an annual pass.
People planning a visit to national parks across NSW are urged to check for closures before heading out as conditions can change quickly.

Where are All Parks Pass and Multi-Parks Pass valid?
All Parks Pass
- Valid for all fee-collecting parks in NSW, including Kosciuszko National Park.
Multi-Parks Pass
- Valid for all fee-collecting parks in NSW, except Kosciuszko National Park.
Where are Country and Single Park Passes valid?
Country Parks Passes
- Valid for all fee-collecting parks in Country NSW, except Kosciuszko National Park.
Single Park Passes
- Valid for 1 designated park in Country NSW, except Kosciuszko National Park.

Where can't I use Country or Single Park Passes?
Country and Single Park Passes are not valid for:
- Fee-collecting parks in the Sydney area - those surrounded by the Hawkesbury-Nepean River and the Appin-Bulli Road
- Kosciuszko National Park
You will need an All Parks Pass or Multi-Parks Pass for fee-collecting parks in the Sydney area, including:
- Bents Basin State Conservation Area
- Cattai National Park
- Garigal National Park
- Georges River National Park
- Kamay Botany Bay National Park
- Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park
- Lane Cove National Park
- Royal National Park
- Sydney Harbour National Park
- Thirlmere Lakes National Park
You will need an All Parks Pass to cover park entry fees for Kosciuszko National Park.
What fees are not covered by NPWS annual park passes?
NSW National Parks annual passes are valid for motor vehicle entry fees at up to 45 fee-collecting parks.
Annual passes do not include:
- Camping and accommodation fees
- Landing fees for Sydney Harbour National Park islands
- Landing fees at The Basin, Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park
- Mooring fees at Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park
- Entry to museums, visitor centres, rainforest centres, Discovery and education centres
- Fees for tours, events, activities and attractions in NSW national parks
- The Skitube in Kosciuszko National Park
Restrictions apply at the following locations:

Annual passes do not cover vehicle entry fees at these NSW parks:
- Visitors to Worimi Conservation Lands will need to buy a Beach Vehicle Permit before visiting.
- 3 areas in Oxley Wild Rivers National Park have day vehicle entry fees: Halls Peak campground, Riverside campground and picnic area, and Youdales campground and picnic area. Fees aren't applicable if you're paying camping fees at these locations.
- Bongil Bongil National Park requires a beach driving permit at Bongil Beach.
- Booderee National Park, at Jervis Bay, is managed jointly by the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community and Parks Australia.
NSW National Parks annual passes do not cover entry fees to parks in the ACT or other Australian states and territories.

If you ride a bicycle or walk to your park, entry remains free.
Parks charging motor vehicle entry fees are generally those which receive many visitors. Your support, through entry fees, directly helps NSW National Parks to maintain and improve visitor facilities, conserve threatened species and their habitats, and protect sites of cultural significance.
