Through guided, sensory activities such as silent sit spots, blindfolded games and nature observation, students examine features and characteristics of a coastal rainforest environment.

Students examine differing perceptions about the management of places and environments through a lens of current National Park and Wildlife Service Management and discuss the way people, place and environments interact in Iluka Nature Reserve.

Students acquire and communicate geographical information using a map to identify location, direction, distance, map, references, spatial distributions and patterns.
