Kosciuszko gameshow a fun program presented at the education centre for Stage 3 (Years 5-6) students, focused on History and Geography values of the Kosciuszko area. Students gather clues about the natural and cultural heritage of the park and use the information to compete in a TV style game show.

Above the treeline

Above the treeline is a Stage 6 (Years 11-12) school excursion in Kosciuszko National Park which focuses on Geography. Explore the interactions of the atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere in the alpine area on a guided walk to the summit of Mt Kosciuszko or to picturesque, glacial Blue Lake.

Kosciuszko - a special place

Kosciuszko a special place is a presentation for stage 6 (year 11-12) students focusing on Geography. This excursion highlights the unique natural and cultural features of Kosciuszko National Park, interaction of the four spheres, human impacts, sustainability and park management. Students have the opportunity to have their questions answered by an NPWS education officer.

Students will gather clues about the natural and cultural heritage of the Snowy Mountains from the displays in Kosciuszko Education Centre and use this information to compete as teams in a television-style game show.

This Kosciuszko gameshow school excursion for Stage 2 (Years 3-4) students in Kosciuszko National Park focuses on Science. Students use the information they gather from display boards in the education centre to compete in a loud, outlandish game show. The students enjoy the challenge of a competitive game and the opportunity to barrack for their team.

Strategic planning meeting

Strategic planning meeting is a Stage 6 (Years 11-12) school excursion in Kosciuszko National Park, which focuses on Geography. As soil scientists, geomorphologists, hydrologists, climatologists, botanists, biologists, historians, pest species officers, park planners or legal advisers, students work together gathering information from a variety of sources to give a presentation on the impacts of a hypothetical ski resort.
