Quanda Nature Reserve

Overview

Quanda Nature Reserve was created in January 1963. It covers an area of 4784ha. For detailed park and fire management documents, visit the OEH website.

Quanda Nature Reserve is dominated by green mallee with some poplar box. Originally the Reserve was conserved as malleefowl habitat. It has since become a remnant surrounded by cleared lands.

The reserve is managed to maintain and optimise the habitat values for resident flora and fauna and to provide opportunities for environmental monitoring and research.

These maps give a basic overview of park attractions and facilities, and may not be detailed enough for some activities. We recommend that you buy a topographic map before you go exploring.
