Closed areas: Closed bridge on Way Way Creek Road due to storm damage

The Council timber bridge on Way Way Creek Road that provides access to the park from Scotts Head Road is damaged. Access to the park is still available from Warrell Creek (using Rosewood Road) and Grassy Head (using North Kinki Spur Road and Grassy Head trail). This closure will be in place until repairs can be made and any extension will be posted as soon as possible. Penalties apply for non-compliance. Closed areas: Trial Bay Gaol campground partially closed

Some areas of this campground are closed until the end of March 2017, because of improvement works on drainage and amenities (unless the closure is otherwise extended or removed). The closed areas are:

  • Some sites in Trial Bay Gaol campground
  • Sections of internal roads.

Please note that there is strictly no public access to the construction sites, and there may be machinery and plant moving through the campground.

    $8 per vehicle per day at Hungry Head and Smoky Beach.  The park has coin-operated pay and display machines - please bring correct coins.
