Queanbeyan Nature Reserve
Queanbeyan Nature Reserve was created in March 1989. It covers an area of 68ha. For detailed park and fire management documents, visit the OEH website.
Queanbeyan Nature Reserve is characterised by low, undulating terrain with open grasslands and areas of open woodland. You can enjoy activities such as walking, birdwatching and nature-study in the larger of its two sections, bounded by Lanyon Drive, Hoover Road and the Queanbeyan-Michelago tourist railway line. The nearby smaller section is only 2 hectares.
These maps give a basic overview of park attractions and facilities, and may not be detailed enough for some activities. We recommend that you buy a topographic map before you go exploring.
