Short steep hills: At around 650m into the walk, there's a small knoll with undulating sections that follows the ridgeline.

Quality of path

Formed track, some obstacles: The surface of the track is hard-packed ground. The track surface may have loose rocks at certain points and there may be drainage lines in wet weather.

Other barriers

Gates: There's a gate at the start of the walking track off Daleys Point carpark. You may have difficulty getting around it if you're using a stroller or a wheelchair.

    Daleys Point walking track is in the Daleys Point precinct of Bouddi National Park. To get there:

    • Take Central Coast Highway from Gosford and turn right onto Avoca Drive
    • Follow Avoca Drive through Kincumber then turn right onto Empire Bay Drive
    • Continue along Empire Bay Drive and turn left onto Wards Hill Road
    • Daleys Point walking track starts at the top of Wards Hill Road opposite Maitland Bay Drive

    Parking

    Parking is available at the top of Wards Hill Road near the track head.

    Best times to visit

    Spring

    Take the Bouddi Coastal walk to be amazed by the colourful wildflowers on display in spring.

    Summer

    Cool off with a dip at one the park's gorgeous beaches or try snorkelling at Maitland Bay Surf the popular coastline between MacMasters Beach and Box Head .

    Winter

    Grab the camera and spot humpback whales as they migrate north between May and July.

    • Daleys Point walking track is 5m wide and hard-packed ground along its length. 
    • There are some short, steep hills at the point where the track follows a ridgeline (around 650m from the start of the walk).
    • The track surface may contain loose rocks at certain points and there may be drainage lines in wet weather.
    • There's a gate at the start of the track. People using strollers or wheelchairs may find it difficult to get around the gate to access the track.
