Australian Orienteering Championships

Do you want to learn about orienteering? Take part in this fantastic event over 2 weekends in the country around Hill End Historic Site. It's open to beginners and experienced orienteers alike.

Fees apply. Free park entry.

Sunday 24 September 2017: Middle distance event. Saturday 30 September 2017: Long distance event. Sunday 1 October 2017: Relay event for experienced orienteers. Solo (non-relay) courses available for beginners who enter on the day.

All courses start any time between 9.30am to 11.30am, and finish 20 to 60 minutes later depending on course chosen.

Beginners' briefings 9.30am onwards on Sunday 24 September and Saturday 30 September 2017.

BIOME art and photography exhibition

We’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of NPWS in 2017. It’s a great excuse to visit a national park. Join us for an exhibition at Huskisson Gallery showcasing the beauty of Shoalhaven's landscape.

Free. Free park entry.

Thursday 14 September to Tuesday 10 October 2017, 10am–5pm. Official opening is Saturday 16 September 2017, 5pm–7pm.
