Ski Beach picnic area is a great place for a day out beside the mighty Murray River in Murray Valley Regional Park, adjacent to Murray Valley National Park.
The picnic area is a short walk from either Cobram or Barooga, and is well-equipped with barbecues and picnic tables. After a tasty barbecue lunch, you could take a peaceful walk along the river or enjoy a cooling dip. If you've brought your fishing rod along, you can try your luck at a spot of fishing. For those interested in local history, it’s also the site of the river punt, constructed in 1889 to carry people and animals across the river.
Whichever way you choose to spend your time, you're bound to find Ski Beach picnic area a delightful place to while away the afternoon with family, friends, and even your dog, thanks to its location in Murray Valley Regional Park.
