Explore Muogamarra and the diversity of its plants and history. Who was John Tipper and who was George Peat? What are their links with this nature reserve and its surrounds? Check out Tipper’s water tank, the old school site, Aboriginal engravings, Tom’s cabin and more. This is an easy walk with lots to see.

Remember to bring your morning tea to enjoy at the lookout. It's a good idea to wear enclosed shoes and bring a hat, rain gear, sunscreen, insect protection and drinking water.

  • in Muogamarra Nature Reserve in the Sydney and surrounds region
  • Muogamarra Nature Reserve is open to the public from 9am to 4.30pm for 6 weekends every year. The reserve will open on 12 August in 2017. The reserve is closed to the public at other times to protect the sensitive natural and cultural heritage.

    • A park access fee applies during the 6 annual open weekends: $15 adults, $10 children, $40 family (2 adults, 2 children).
    • Annual passes are not valid for entry to Muogamarra Nature Reserve.
