Come along to experience the frugal forest exhibition in Sea Acres National Park. This creative project is an intricate and detailed forest installation entirely made from salvaged materials that were headed for landfill. You’ll see that nothing is wasted in this forest and all materials are creatively integrated. You'll notice how exceptional this project is when we live in a world with dwindling resources and growing waste.

A team of artists, musicians, scientists, schools and communities across the Mid North Coast have come together to create this sensory wonderland. Over 1170 people have contributed to this project, from making leaf litter to designing massive palm trees and creating soundscapes and videos.

Your entry into the exhibition is by gold coin donation, which supports educational programs for local students. Children will have the opportunity to join in creative workshops using recycled materials available throughout the spring and summer school holidays.
