Closed areas: Prince Henry Cliff walk - section closed

A section of Prince Henry Cliff Walk will be temporarily closed from Tuesday 23 May 2017 for walking track upgrade works. The details are as follows:

  • 300m of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk track between Katoomba Cascades and Reid Plateau will be closed
  • There will be detours via Cliff Drive. These will be clearly signposted.

Anvil Rock is closed to enable an upgrade to safety barriers. This closure is in place from Thursday 20 April 2017 until 3 June 2017. Any extension will be posted as soon as possible. Closed areas are:

  • Anvil Rock Road at the junction of Perrys Lookdown Road
  • Anvil Rock lookout and track
  • Anvil Rock car park and,
  • Wind Eroded Cave and track

Walkers, cyclists and canyoners are advised to be cautious and to plan their activities and routes carefully. Significant rain has affected the entire park since Monday 13 March. Rivers and creeks could become impassable at short notice. Please note some closures are in place within this park.

Closed areas: Claustral canyon access change
