    Burwood trail is in Glenrock State Conservation Area. To get there by car from Newcastle:

    • Follow City Road from Newcastle to the south
    • Turn left at Highfields onto Kahibah Road
    • Turn left at Kahibah onto Burwood Road
    • Turn left at Whitebridge onto Scout Camp Road
    • Follow Scout Camp Road to Leggy Point loop carpark
    • The start of the track is about 100m downhill from the water tank on the left

    Parking

    Parking is available at Leggy Point loop carpark. Limited parking for horse floats is available at the NPWS depot and the easement at the start of Scout Camp Road. It can be a busy place on the weekend, so parking might be limited.
