Steps
Occasional steps: There are numerous sets of timber steps after the first 100m of track, ranging from between 5 steps to 28 steps each.
Accessible options
The first 100m of the track is paved and suitable for wheelchairs, prams and visitors with reduced mobility. This section of the track goes from Myanba Creek picnic area to the first viewing platform.
After the first viewing platform, the rest of the track is hard-packed ground with many steps.

Myanba Gorge walking track is in the Coolangubra section of South East Forest National Park. To get there:
- Head east from Bombala on Bucky Springs Road and continue through Cathart along Coolangubra Forest Way.
- Alternatively, follow Imlay Road south of Eden.
Parking
Car and bus parking is available in a gravel carpark at Myanba Creek picnic area where this walk begins.

Autumn
Head to the Bombala River in the early morning or late afternoon to see platypuses - look for circular ripple patterns in the water.
Spring
See Nunnocks Swamp and grasslands in its spring bloom glory.
Summer
A great time for a walk in the park – try the easy Goodenia Rainforest walk through a lush gully of ferns covered by a dense canopy of tall lilly pilly trees.
Winter
After a day exploring, get cosy in front of an open fire at historic Alexanders Hut, Nunnocks Swap.
Facilities
You'll need to bring your own drinking and cooking water.

There are 4 bench seats with backrests at regular points along the walk, with the last seat at Myanba Gorge lookout where the walk ends.

- The first 100m of this track is flat, paved and step-free. It goes from the picnic area to the first viewing platform and is suitable for wheelchairs, prams and visitors with reduced mobility.
- Beyond this point, the track becomes hard-packed ground with many steps.
- There are bench seats for resting at regular points along the track but all the seats are located after the first 100m of the walk.

Camp fires and solid fuel burners
Please bring gas or fuel stoves if you plan to cook, especially in summer during the fire season.
Gathering firewood
Firewood may not be collected from the park.
