    Khancoban is a small NSW township associated with the development of the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Scheme. Suggested routes to Khancoban are:

    • Alpine Way – via Cooma, Jindabyne and Thredbo.
    • Snowy Valley tourist drive – via Tumbarumba and Tooma Valley on the Tooma Road
    • Cabramurra Link Road - via Tumut or Adaminaby and Cabramurra and Tooma Ponds.

    • Winter (June to September): Open 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 2pm on weekends. Rest of year: Open 9am to 4pm daily. Closed Christmas Day.
