Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995
The Threatened Species Conservation Act outlines the protection of threatened species, communities and critical habitat in New South Wales. An independent Scientific Committee has been set up under the Act to determine which species, populations and ecological communities should to be listed as endangered, vulnerable or extinct under the act, and also to determine key threatening processes. You can read the Scientific Committee's determinations online.
