  • A minimum age of 5 years applies for all visitors to Barunguba Montague Island.
  • Bookings should be made more than 7 days in advance to allow for boat transfers.
  • The cottage is only accessible by NPWS-contracted commercial boat operator. There is no private vessel access.
  • Boat transfers and a 2.5 hour tour of the island are included in your accommodation package. You'll receive more information after booking.
  • Optional snorkelling or diving trips with seals, or fishing charters can be arranged at an additional cost. More information will be provided after booking.
  • Barunguba Montague Island is a remote offshore island so please arrive well prepared. You'll receive a safety briefing by NPWS staff on arrival at the island.
