Convict footprints British colonisation is a Stage 2 (Years 3-4) school excursion in Dharug National Park, focusing on HSIE. It's an immersive play staged on the convict-built Old Great North Road at Wisemans Ferry. Students step back in time to 1830 to meet Surveyor General Major Thomas Mitchell, Lieutenant Percy Simpson and hear first hand the stories of the men who laboured to build this incredible road.
