If you’re looking to get off the beaten track, head to Woperana campgrounds in Murray Valley National Park. You'll find 3 campgrounds to choose from, all set on the riverbank under majestic river red gums.

After you've set up camp, it's time to explore. This scenic spot the perfect place to do a bit of birdwatching, cast a line or simply relax and take in the view. Or if you're feeling energetic, why not go for a swim, paddle down the river or explore the park on a self-guided walk.

These campgrounds are only accessible during dry weather and it’s best to take a 4WD. It’s one of the remote camping areas in the park, and with space for only three to four camps at a time, you’re bound to enjoy the solitude.

Cap off a day spent exploring all that the park has to offer with a barbecue feast before settling in for a night under the stars.
