Closed areas: Toonumbar Forest Drive and Cox's Road closed
From 1 January 2024, Toonumbar Forest Drive and Cox's Road are closed until winter 2024. Estimated re-opening dates will be provided in late April 2024.
Sherwood lookout and Murray Scrub lookout remain closed until the roads are re-opened. Iron Pot Creek campground and Murray Scrub walking track are only accessible via Murray Scrub Road from Afterlee.
Both roads are not safely trafficable in wet conditions and are therefore seasonally closed from late spring until late autumn dependant on rainfall during the wet season. There may also be additional closures during forecast weather events and damage during the winter period.
