Pretty Beach campground, near Durras Mountain and within Murramarang National Park, offers tent camping and cabins by the beach where visitors can enjoy coastal walks, swimming and fishing.

  • There are 33 unpowered and 27 powered sites at Pretty Beach campground.
  • This campground is suitable for group bookings
  • Pretty Beach campground has an office with information about the park and staff are available seven days a week. Firewood and ice can be bought here.
  • Fires may only be lit in approved containers - they may not be lit on the ground.
  • Strong rips and currents may be present at this beach – take care in the water and please supervise children at all times.

  • A minimum daily rate applies, which includes the first 2 occupants.
  • Special: May to start of September school holiday, outside school holiday periods and long weekends: Powered sites for the price of unpowered sites. To receive the special offer, simply book for your chosen length of stay, and the discounted rate will be automatically calculated.

Park entry fees are not included in your camping fees.

Bookings Use a secure payment gateway to book online. Alternatively, please contact National Parks Contact Centre on 13000 PARKS (13000 72757). All reservations incur an additional 2.5% booking fee. Sites may only be occupied by the number of people specified in the reservation.

This spacious campground is set in an idyllic location, with lovely views out over Pretty Beach and along the coast. It’s a peaceful place to base yourself for explorations around Durras Mountain and Snapper Point within Murramarang National Park. You can enjoy long coastal walks, birdwatching, swimming in the ocean, sunbathing, fishing, and even whale watching at certain times of the year.

Pretty Beach campground has numerous tent sites, many with power, and if you don’t feel like tent camping, there are even a couple of cabins. It’s a well-equipped campground with hot showers, laundry facilities, sheltered electric barbecues and some small wood barbecues.

All year round, you’ll be able to enjoy watching kangaroos grazing in nearby open spaces, as well as spotting lyrebirds, possums, gliders, Jacky lizards, and goannas.
